Our bike shorts have a high waist, a wide, flattering, stretchy, elastic free waistband, and an 8" inseam.  What's so great about bike shorts? They come up nice and high for a flattering, smoothing fit, and the legs are nice and long, so they don't roll up, and they aren't too short.  They just work.  Pair them with a crop, and a baggy tee, and you are ready for anything.
